Sarasota – December 4, 2024 – Meals on Wheels of Sarasota recently received a $50,000 donation from IAT Insurance Group following two back-to-back hurricanes that directly impacted our area. The intensity of the storms left senior citizens with little resources to get back on their feet. Many Meals on Wheels clients receive meals for free or at reduced rates and rely on the program to ensure they have a warm meal every day.
“IAT Insurance Group is committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work, especially during challenging times,” said IAT Insurance’s Chief Executive Officer Bill Cunningham. “We are grateful to organizations like Meals on Wheels who are doing the groundwork in Sarasota to provide much-needed assistance.”
